Huffman Construction & Design was built on the belief that creating a home should be an exciting, collaborative experience.
As owners of the company, Mitch Huffman and Brandi Kirkbride work side by side to guide every project from the earliest ideas through the final finishing touches.
Mitch combines technical expertise with a practical understanding of home construction. With a degree in Engineering from Purdue University and as a licensed Ohio real estate professional, he brings thoughtful planning, exceptional craftsmanship, and a hands-on approach to every project. He leads the construction team with a commitment to quality, clear communication, and ensuring every home is built to stand the test of time.
Brandi leads the design experience, helping homeowners confidently navigate the many decisions that come with building or remodeling a home. From selecting finishes and materials to creating cohesive interiors, she works closely with each family to ensure their home feels welcoming, functional, and uniquely personal. Her goal is to make the design process enjoyable, inspiring, and far less overwhelming.
Together, Mitch and Brandi believe every family deserves a home that's thoughtfully designed, beautifully built, and created around the way they live.
When they're away from the job site, they enjoy spending time with their daughter Stella, caring for their horse farm, traveling, and making memories together as a family.

Behind every successful project is someone making sure every detail stays on track.
Kendra Eckstein brings more than 15 years of experience supporting organizations through exceptional communication, organization, and operational leadership. Her background in healthcare, dental, and small business operations has given her a unique ability to manage complex projects while keeping people at the center of every interaction.
She earned her bachelor's degree from Manchester University and later completed her Master of Health Administration at Ohio University, strengthening her expertise in operations and strategic management.
At Huffman Construction & Design, Kendra helps coordinate projects from beginning to end, ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout every stage of the building and remodeling process. Her attention to detail and commitment to creating a seamless experience make her an invaluable part of the team.
Outside of work, Kendra enjoys life on her Indiana homestead with her husband and their four children. Whether spending time on the farm, traveling, or making memories with family and friends, she values the same sense of home and togetherness that inspires the work we do every day.
Megan Malmedahl

For Megan, every great project begins with listening.
With a background in real estate and more than a decade spent helping families navigate important home decisions, she understands that every homeowner's journey is unique. Her experience allows her to guide clients with patience, honesty, and a genuine desire to understand what's most important to them.
After graduating from Ohio University, Megan built a career in sales, event coordination, and residential real estate, developing the relationship-first approach that continues to define her work today.
At Huffman Construction & Design, Megan helps homeowners explore ideas, answer questions, and confidently take the first steps toward building or remodeling the home they've been dreaming about. Her goal is to make every client feel heard, supported, and excited about what's ahead.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys traveling, hiking, cheering on her children at sporting events, and spending time with her husband, Grant, their children, Vance and Mae, and their two energetic Yorkies. Family adventures and creating lasting memories are at the heart of everything she loves.
